The Company
FLUITEN > ABOUT
FLUITEN has been designing and producing MECHANICAL SEALS for industry sectors since 1962. We our present within the following sectors: Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Food, Energy, Naval. Our production ranges from 20 mm diameter water seals to seals fitted at the bottom of reactor columns at 350 °C. We have always been unique in terms of our passion for new technologies and the careful research of new developments and novel materials. The results can be seen with our products, the careful attention to details, the customised applications achieved for our Customers. We have greatly developed gas seal technology, resulting from spatial applications, and developments relative to centrifugal compressors, as an alternative to liquid technology. We have an excellent metrology laboratory which is able to satisfy the most demanding Customer requirements, equipped with the latest-generation tools which can provide extremely accurate measurements, up to a tenth of a micron.
It all began in 1962 when the founder, Alberto Delfo Colombo, currently the Chairman, lay the foundations of a company which today employs more than 100 persons all over Europe and makes over 20 million Euro. The company headquarters is based in Pero, in the largest hinterland of Milan. We have sales branches and service centres in France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Spain and Malaysia.
The secret of our success lies with people: we love our work and place specific focus on "teamwork" at all times. We have invested lots in technology, in the knowledge that to achieve high-level objectives, we must always stay ahead of the others, building up our skills and knowledge within every department within the company.
